About the Hospital

  1. Legislations that Control Work:
    • Universities Organization Law No. 47 of 1972.
    • Act No. 47of 1978 about state civil employees, its bylaw and amendments.
    • Some instructions and internal bylaws about organizing work at hospitals, according to the administrative structure and according to everyone’s special duties.
  2. Legislations that Control Work:
    • To receive patients at outpatient clinics and Emergency Department and offer them the required medical services, checkups and transfer cases that need hospitalization to the inpatient departments to get suitable treatment whether via medications or surgery
    • To make medical and health reports, analysis, x-ray images, Physiotherapy and other various activities.
    • To examine university students, give them suitable medication and offer them the required medical services.
    • To examine those who are not under the umbrella of health insurance system to make decisions about treating them at the state’s expenses and disburse suitable medicine to each case. The duties of the Hospital also include making examinations, x-rays images, speculums, operations and medicinal treatment at the inpatient departments suitable to each case that requires treatment as well as assigning a complete teamwork to undertake work in this field. The general objective is to serve patients whether they frequently visit outpatient clinics, Emergency Department or inpatient departments, to offer them the best medical care services, disburse suitable medicine and make all required medical checkups according to the available capabilities of Tanta University Hospital .
